About Mrs. Centanni
I graduated from Boston University with a BA in English. I went on to Quinnipiac College School of Law where I received my JD.
Teaching Philosophy
As a middle school ELA teacher, I believe in fostering a classroom environment where students feel seen and heard both academically and personally.
Through literature, writing, and meaningful dialogue, I aim to help students better understand themselves and the world around them.
My goal is to help students become thoughtful readers, confident writers, and effective communicators by choosing texts and designing lessons that reflect the diversity of my students’ experiences and the broader world.
I strive to create engaging lessons that challenge students while offering support and differentiation to meet varied learning needs. I encourage students to take risks and ask questions. I believe relationships are at the heart of great teaching.
By building trust and mutual respect, I create a safe space where students are not only academically challenged but also emotionally supported.

- I enjoying reading, musicals, and the theater.
- I enjoy playing with my puppy and hanging out with friends.
