About Mrs. Wiggins
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Notre Dame College (Summa Cum Laude-2009). I am licensed for Middle Childhood of Math and Science with an Endorsement for Language Arts and Reading, Social Studies, and Generalist. A few years ago I received my Level 1 Google Certification. I am Virtus Trained, Catechist Certified from the Diocese of Cleveland, and ALICE Trained.
Teaching Philosophy
I believe that strong, meaningful relationships are the foundation of a successful classroom. When students feel seen and supported, they are more willing to take academic risks and engage deeply in their learning. I love guiding students toward information and encouraging them to follow their curiosity—often through hands-on projects that spark new questions and deeper thinking. I see value in learning through mistakes, as failure often leads to the most lasting growth. I hold high expectations for my students because I know they are capable of rising to the challenge.
Fun Facts/Hobbies
- I enjoy racing sailboats and we own a power boat that is docked on the Chagrin River in Eastlake.
- We travel a lot for my son's wrestling team.
- I love spending time with my family, friends, and my dog Bella
