About Mrs. Stahurski
I graduated from Heidelberg University with a bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology.
My background has been filled with working with children and adults as a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional in Lake County. Writing behavior plans, working on daily living skills with individuals as well as monitoring the develop treatment plans, and ensure the implementation of those plans.
Teaching Philosophy
I believe that learning should be fun and school should be a place where children can be nurtured and grow. In my classroom I work hard to allow the students to learn through play and give them mechanisms to express themselves in an effective manner.
School should be a place where students can learn from hands on activities and through play! The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” – Dr. Seuss
Fun Facts/Hobbies
- I love spending time with my husband Neil and daughter Charlotte. We love to travel and make every experience an adventure.
- We love attending Cleveland Sports especially the Cavs! 🏀
- I also love sports and have passed that on to Charlotte and coach her in both volleyball and basketball.
