Communion of Saints Catholic School
Social Responsibility

As part of our school’s emphasis on social responsibility, children experience many different kinds of service projects throughout the school year.  Communion of Saints School students model their dedication to community service each and everyday. Students enjoy helping others in their community and abroad and encompassing our theme of the year, even the smallest gesture can make a big difference in someone’s world.

Students at Communion of Saints School have partnered with our parish in several service opportunities. Some of these include:

  • Raising money for the St. Vincent de Paul Society of COS Parish
  • Working in conjunction with the Michael Ozanam Center to assist families in need through:
    • Diaper Drives
    • Coat / Hat/ Gloves Drive
    • Canned Food Drive
  • Assisting at the IHN (Interfaith Hospitality Network) week at Communion of Saints Parish to aid homeless families
  • Writing to parish shut-ins on a regular basis
